    Your passport decides

Some passports need no visa for Dubai, some get one on arrival, most apply before they fly.

    Visas from Dubai

For UAE residents: where to apply in Dubai, the embassy fee and what Dubai agencies charge.

A Dubai visa is a UAE e-visa issued by GDRFA in Dubai or ICP for the other emirates, and your passport decides which one you need. A 30-day tourist visa costs AED 210 in government fees and takes about 48 hours. Some passports need no visa at all. DubaiVisaDesk.com checks the rule for your passport, prepares the file and quotes one total price first.

    Three questions decide your visa

    1. Which passport? GCC citizens need no visa. Many Western passports get a free stay on arrival. Most passports from Asia, Africa and the Middle East apply in advance. Pick yours in the passport checker above, or open the Dubai visa by nationality list.
    2. Who is the trip for? A holiday uses a tourist visa through a licensed tourism company or an airline. A stay with family in the UAE can use a visit visa sponsored by the relative, explained on the family visit visa page. A stopover uses a transit visa.
    3. How long? Tourist visas run 30 or 60 days, single or multiple entry. Relatives can sponsor 30, 60 or 90 days. Frequent visitors can hold a 5-year multiple entry visa.

Dubai visa agencies publish about AED 340 to AED 800 for a 30-day single entry visa, service included (published prices of 8 Dubai agencies, checked ). That range is a guide to judge any quote. It is not our price. The full breakdown, with VAT, deposits and the inside-the-country fee, is on the Dubai visa price page.

    Already in the UAE

If the visa is running out, you have three routes: extend the visit visa, change status inside the UAE, or leave and come back on a new visa. Staying past the end date costs AED 50 a day, and the overstay fine page has a calculator.

    Moving to the UAE

To live here you need a residence visa, and someone has to sponsor it: an employer for a work visa, a resident husband, wife or parent for a family visa, or you yourself on a golden visa, a green visa or another self-sponsored route. Each guide gives the official fee lines, the documents and the rules on salary, property or income.

    Living in Dubai and travelling

UAE residents apply for most visas from here. Schengen, UK and Canada files go through visa centres in the UAE, and US visas need an interview at a US mission in the UAE. Each visa from Dubai page gives the embassy fee, the centre, the documents that UAE residents are asked for and the range Dubai agencies charge.

    Applying yourself

You do not have to use an agency. A relative who lives in the UAE can file a sponsored visit visa on the GDRFA or ICP smart services with UAE Pass, and many airlines sell tourist visas to their own passengers. Tourist visas for most passports are filed by licensed Dubai tourism establishments, so a traveller abroad cannot apply for one directly on the government site. Visas abroad are filed on each country's own system: France-Visas, VIDEX for Germany, UKVI, the DS-160 for the US, ImmiAccount for Australia. Every guide here links the official service.

People come to us when the route is not obvious: a passport with extra checks, a sponsor below the income tier, a visa that is about to expire, or a Schengen file that has to be right the first time.

    How it works with us

Send the passport country, where the traveller is now and the dates, on WhatsApp or the form on this page. A visa adviser names the visa that fits and sends one total price before you pay. Once you agree, our team prepares and files the application, answers any request from the authority and sends you the e-visa or your passport back. We are a private visa service: GDRFA, ICP or the embassy approve or refuse every visa, and government fees are not refunded after a refusal. Before you pay, the adviser tells you in writing what part of the total, if any, comes back if the visa is refused. The how it works page has each step.

    Get one total price

For a Dubai or UAE visa: send the traveller's passport country, where they are now and the dates. A visa adviser replies with the right visa, the documents and one total price, fees included, before anything is filed or paid.

DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service. The authorities decide every application.

    Good to know

    Questions people ask

Do I need a visa for Dubai?

It depends on your passport. GCC citizens need none. Passports such as the UK, the US, Canada and most of the EU get a free stay of 90 days in 180 on arrival, a shorter list gets 30 days on arrival, and most others, including India, the Philippines and Egypt, apply before they fly.

How much does a Dubai visa cost?

The GDRFA fee for a 30-day single entry tourist visa is AED 200 plus 5% VAT, AED 210 in all, and AED 315 for 60 days. Dubai agencies publish about AED 340 to AED 800 for the 30-day visa with their service included. Our price is one total, confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.

How long does a Dubai visit visa take?

GDRFA states 48 hours for tourist visas and ICP states 2 days for its visit visas, once the file is complete. Missing documents pause the file, and ICP cancels a request that stays incomplete for 30 days.

Can I extend my visit visa without leaving the UAE?

Yes, in most cases. GDRFA charges AED 600 plus VAT per extension and ICP charges AED 100 plus AED 500. A tourist visa can be extended up to 120 days of stay in total.

I live in Dubai. Which countries can I visit without a visa?

That depends mainly on your passport, not on your UAE residence. A few countries do use the UAE residence permit: Georgia lets holders of a UAE residence visa in for 90 days in 180, and Armenia admits nationals of 111 listed countries with a UAE or GCC residence.

    Is DubaiVisaDesk.com the immigration department?

No. We are a private visa service in Dubai. GDRFA and ICP issue UAE visas, and each embassy issues its own. We pick the right visa, prepare the file, submit it and follow it up for one total price.
