The Dubai visit visa price starts at AED 210 in GDRFA fees for a 30-day single entry tourist visa, and AED 315 for 60 days, VAT included. Most travellers pay more, because a licensed agency must file a tourist visa: Dubai agencies publish about AED 340 to AED 800 for 30 days. Sponsored family visas add a refundable AED 1,000 or AED 2,000 guarantee.

About VAT and the totals
GDRFA lists its fees before VAT and adds 5%. The AED 210, AED 315 and AED 525 totals are the base fee plus 5%. GDRFA's pages also say the total "may vary", so the amount at checkout can differ by a few dirhams. The 5-year visa shows this clearly: ICP's line items add up to AED 3,720 and GDRFA's page shows AED 3,713. The official pages differ, and you pay what the issuing authority charges.
Airline prices
If you fly Emirates, the airline sells UAE tourist visas to its own passengers, priced in US dollars with VAT included: USD 90 for 30 days single entry, USD 136 for 30 days multiple, USD 177 for 60 days single and USD 231 for 60 days multiple. Its prearranged transit visas cost USD 10 for 48 hours and USD 49 for 96 hours. You need an Emirates ticket, and fees are not refunded once processed.

Some agencies bundle insurance, some show prices without VAT, and a few do not say whether a visa is single or multiple entry. Compare like with like.
Where the extra cost comes from
- The sponsor. Tourist visas go through a licensed tourism establishment, so most people pay an agency or airline on top of the GDRFA fee.
- Being inside the UAE. The AED 500 inside-country fee, plus the AED 10 Knowledge Dirham and AED 10 Innovation Dirham, applies to a new visa issued in the country.
- Speed. Agencies charge express surcharges. GDRFA's own time is 48 hours either way.
- Deposits. Guarantees of AED 1,000 to AED 3,000 come back, but only after the visa is closed with no violations.
- Extensions and fines. An extension costs AED 600 plus VAT at GDRFA. An overstay costs AED 50 for each extra day.
Documents that affect the price
- A passport with under 6 months left means renewing it first, which is a cost of its own.
- Health insurance valid in the UAE is required. On relative visas GDRFA sells it with the visa.
- Proof of the host's salary on sponsored visits decides whether the visa is possible at all.
Processing time and price
GDRFA states 48 hours and ICP 2 days on their visit visa pages. Agency express options are the agency's own service, priced on top, so ask what time they actually commit to and from which point the clock runs.
Refunds and refusals
ICP says only issuance fees are refundable, never application or smart services fees. Guarantees come back after the visa is cancelled or the visitor leaves, with no violations.
