A 60-day Dubai visa, the 2 month UAE visit visa, lets you stay up to 60 days on one permit. GDRFA charges AED 315 for single entry and AED 525 for multiple entry, VAT included, and states 48 hours to issue it. A licensed tourism company or airline files it. Pick multiple entry only if you will leave the UAE and return during the stay.
Who a 60-day visa is for
People choose two months for reasons that a 30-day visa does not cover: a long family stay, a winter break, a project with weeks of meetings, a medical recovery with a relative nearby, or time to look around before a move. If your stay is under a month, the 30-day Dubai visa costs less. If you need three months, read the 90-day Dubai visa page, because the tourist visa itself stops at 60 days and you would need an extension or a sponsored visit.

Emirates sells the 60-day visa to its own passengers at USD 177 single entry and USD 231 multiple entry, VAT included. You need an Emirates return ticket, and the airline says its visa fees are not refunded once processed.
What Dubai agencies charge for 60 days
Dubai visa agencies publish about AED 535 to AED 1,200 for a 60-day single entry visa (published prices of 8 Dubai agencies, checked ). For 60-day multiple entry the published range is about AED 725 to AED 2,000 from 6 agencies. A few of the higher prices do not say whether the visa is single or multiple, so check before comparing.
Single or multiple entry: how to decide
The two visas give the same 60 days in the UAE. What changes is what happens when you cross a border.
Single entry closes the moment you exit. Fly to Muscat for a weekend and you need a new visa to come back. It suits people who land, stay and fly home.
Multiple entry stays open while it is valid, so you can leave and return. It suits a trip with a few days in Oman, a short hop home for work, or a cruise that calls at other ports. Do not treat it as a way to stretch the stay. GDRFA's page does not say in plain words how the days are counted over several entries, so plan for 60 days in total and read the dates on the e-visa. Our page on the Dubai multiple entry visa explains how the days are counted.
A simple test: if your flight plan has only one arrival in the UAE, buy single entry.
Other ways to get 60 days
- Sponsored by family or a friend. A UAE resident can sponsor a 60-day visit visa. GDRFA's fee is AED 300 plus VAT single entry, with a refundable AED 1,000 deposit and AED 60 for health insurance. Details on family visit visa.
- ICP 60-day visa for some nationals living abroad. For nationals of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Kenya and South Africa holding a valid US, EU or UK visa or residence, or a residence permit from Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Singapore or New Zealand. ICP charges AED 350 in all. It is single entry, you must enter within 30 days of issue, and it cannot be extended. See Dubai visa with a US, UK or EU visa.
- Job seeker visa. 60 days, no host needed, AED 200 plus VAT at GDRFA, but you must meet the degree and skill conditions.
Documents for a 60-day visa
- Passport with at least 6 months of validity from arrival.
- Passport photo on a white background, ICAO standard.
- Return ticket dated within the 60 days.
- UAE-valid health insurance for the full stay, not just the first weeks.
- National ID copy when GDRFA requires it for your nationality.
- For a sponsored 60-day visit: the host's Emirates ID, salary certificate and proof of relationship.
Processing time
GDRFA states 48 hours for both 60-day versions. ICP's 60-day visa for residents abroad lists 2 days. Emirates needs at least 4 working days before arrival. Build in a few spare days, and apply earlier around Eid, Christmas and the winter peak, when queues are longer.
Extending past 60 days
GDRFA lets an accredited tourism office extend a tourist visa once or more, as long as the total does not pass 120 days. Each extension costs AED 600 plus VAT, and AED 500 plus AED 10 plus AED 10 more is added when you are inside the country. Apply before your last day, not after. Every day over the limit costs AED 50 in overstay fines. Read Dubai visa extension for the steps.
Common reasons a 60-day file is refused or returned
- A return ticket that falls outside the 60 days.
- Insurance that covers 30 days on a 60-day application.
- Passport validity under 6 months on arrival day.
- Picking the ICP 60-day route without a qualifying visa or residence that has 6 months left.
- For sponsored visits, a host salary under the ICP tier for that relationship.
How it works with us
Send your passport copy, travel dates and any planned side trips on WhatsApp, or use the form on this page. A visa adviser works out whether single entry, multiple entry or a sponsored visit visa is the better fit for a two month stay, and whether you qualify for the ICP 60-day route. You get one total price, confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay. The team then files the visa, answers any query from the authority and emails you the e-visa. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service. GDRFA or ICP decides whether the visa is granted.
If the authorities refuse the visa, their fees do not come back. Before you pay, your adviser confirms in writing what share of the total, if any, would be returned in that case.
