Every quote from DubaiVisaDesk.com comes in writing on WhatsApp or by email before you pay. It states the total price and, for that visa, which part can come back if the application is refused, withdrawn or cannot be filed. This page explains the rules behind those terms. Last updated .
Government and embassy fees
Fees paid to an authority or an embassy, such as a GDRFA or ICP visa fee, a Schengen visa fee or a visa centre's service fee, are set and kept by them. Once they are paid, the authorities do not refund them because a visa is refused. We cannot refund money we no longer hold, so these fees are not refunded after they have been paid on your behalf.
Some UAE visit visas carry a refundable guarantee deposit, paid to the authority and returned under its own rules once the visitor leaves or the visa is cancelled. Where a deposit applies, the quote says so and we help you claim it back.
Before anything is filed
If you cancel before we have paid any fee or filed the application, you get back what you paid, less any third-party cost already incurred for you, such as a courier or a translation, which the quote lists.
After filing
- Refused: the government or embassy fee is not refunded. The written quote says whether any part of our service charge is refunded for that visa, and what happens if the refusal was caused by an error on our side.
- Withdrawn by you after filing: fees already paid are not refunded.
- Delayed by the authority or a visa centre: delays on their side are not grounds for a refund, but we keep following up and keep you informed.
How to ask for a refund
Send the request through the contact form with the name on the application and the date you paid. We reply with the amount due under your written terms and how and when it will be paid back.
