Burkina Faso asks for a visa, and the UK government advises against all travel there. We read the travel warning with you, check which visa route fits your passport, and prepare the file if you still decide to go. We could not confirm a government fee, so we give none here.
The travel warning comes first
The UK Foreign Office says it "advises against all travel to Burkina Faso". It cites terrorist attacks, kidnap and an unstable political situation. There is no British embassy in the country. The page was last updated in December. Other governments may word it differently, so read your own passport country's advice too. Travel insurance often stops covering you when a warning like this applies. Ask your insurer before you book.
The visa rule
UK advice says a visa is mandatory and cannot be issued in the UK. It sends British travellers to the embassy in Brussels or to the Burkina Faso embassies in Accra and Abidjan. That advice is written for British passports. A UAE residence permit is not mentioned as a substitute. Your passport decides.
The government visa site, visaburkina.bf, describes an eVisa for a stay of up to 90 days. It lists transit, short-term and long-term visas, and says you can get one online, at an embassy or at the border with immigration services. Its home page shows no fee and no document list, so those need to be read in the application itself.

Embassy in the UAE
The UAE foreign ministry shows an embassy of Burkina Faso in Abu Dhabi. Ask it whether it files visas for your passport and what a resident of the UAE must bring. We leave out its contact details.
