Belizeans need a Dubai visa before they travel. The UAE foreign ministry lists Belize as visa required before travel. For a holiday, a licensed Dubai tourism company, hotel or airline files a GDRFA tourist visa: AED 210 for 30 days or AED 315 for 60 days, single entry. GDRFA lists 48 hours for a complete file.
What a Belize passport means here
A Belize passport gets no free visit entry. It is also outside the short list for the ICP 14-day and 60-day visas, so the ordinary tourist visa or a sponsored visit is the way in.
What it costs
Single entry from GDRFA is AED 210 for 30 days and AED 315 for 60 days. Multiple entry is AED 315 for 30 days and AED 525 for 60 days. All include VAT. A filing company adds its own fee, so ask for the GDRFA part to be shown alone. Checked on the GDRFA service pages in .
What to prepare
- A Belize passport with six months left
- A colour scan of the photo page and a white-background photo
- A return or onward ticket, and UAE health insurance
- For a family sponsor: their Emirates ID, residence visa, salary proof and proof of the family tie, as in our family visit visa guide
Staying longer
A tourist stay can be extended inside the UAE. ICP lists an AED 100 application plus an AED 500 extension, with tourist stays capped at 120 days in total. Overstaying costs AED 50 a day, so ask us about an extension while the visa is still valid. Our extension guide has the steps.
No embassy needed
You do not apply at an embassy, because tourist visas are filed by a UAE company. We did not find a Belize embassy or consulate in the UAE on a Belize government page, so we do not name one.
