The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists Burkina Faso as visa required, before travel, so a Burkinabe passport gets no visa on arrival in Dubai. The usual route is a GDRFA tourist visa filed by a licensed Dubai company: AED 210 for 30 days, or AED 315 for 60 days. If a relative lives in the UAE, an ICP visit visa is the other route.

Without a host
Go through a tourism company. GDRFA charges AED 210 for 30 days and AED 315 for 60 days, single entry, with 48 hours listed for a complete file. Conditions: passport valid 6 months, return ticket, health insurance valid in the UAE. Agencies add their service fee. No published agency range exists for this passport.
The e-visa after approval
It comes by email. Print it, and enter within 60 days of the date of issue. Airlines in Ouagadougou or on a connection check the e-visa before they let you board, so do not pay for a flight first.
