Burundians need a Dubai visa before they travel. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Republic of Burundi as visa required, with no visa on arrival. GDRFA charges AED 210 for a 30-day tourist visa and lists 48 hours. We prepare the file, with a tourism company or a relative in the UAE as sponsor.
Which visa fits
- Nobody to host you: a tourist visa from a licensed Dubai tourism company, at the GDRFA rate below.
- A brother, sister or parent in the UAE: they can sponsor a visit through ICP if their pay and papers qualify.
- A job offer: that needs a work permit from the employer, so a visit visa is the wrong tool.

A relative who sponsors you has to meet ICP's salary rule: AED 4,000 a month for a parent, spouse or child, AED 8,000 for a sibling or grandparent, AED 15,000 for a friend. Siblings count as second degree relatives.

Burundi consulate in Dubai
The UAE foreign ministry lists the Consulate of the Republic of Burundi in Dubai. It lists no Burundi embassy in Abu Dhabi. We do not publish contact details. For a lost passport or a passport renewal, ask the consulate.
