Cambodians need a Dubai visa before they travel, since the UAE foreign ministry lists the Kingdom of Cambodia as visa required. The usual route is a tourist visa filed by a licensed Dubai tourism company. GDRFA charges AED 210 for 30 days and lists 48 hours. We prepare the file for you.
Two ways in
- Tourist visa: filed by a Dubai tourism company, hotel or airline. No sponsor is needed.
- Visit visa from a relative: a family member with UAE residence files it through ICP and must meet the salary rule.
Fees
- 30 days, single entry: AED 210
- 60 days, single entry: AED 315
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 315
- 60 days, multiple entry: AED 525

Hosts need to show income. ICP lists AED 4,000 a month for close family, AED 8,000 for siblings, grandparents and cousins, and AED 15,000 for a friend.
Documents for the Cambodian passport
- Passport with 6 months or more validity
- Photo page scan and a recent photo
- Return or onward flight
- UAE health insurance
- Host papers if a relative invites you: Emirates ID, residence visa, salary proof and a family link document
Embassy
We could not confirm a Cambodian embassy in the UAE. The UAE foreign ministry directory page for Cambodia gave an error, so we have no entry to quote. Search results suggest the embassy in Kuwait covers the UAE, but we have not read that on a Cambodian government page. Confirm it with Cambodia's foreign ministry before you plan a consular visit.
Work and job search
A tourist visa does not allow work. ICP lists a job exploration visit visa as a separate route, and recruitment from Cambodia to Gulf countries is regulated at home. If an agent tells you to enter on a tourist visa and start work, treat it as a warning sign. Check with your own labour ministry first.
