Dubai visa for Central African citizens

We prepare a Dubai visit visa for holders of a Central African Republic passport and check the file first. GDRFA charges AED 210 for a 30-day tourist visa.

Visa required before travel

Last updated

Central African citizens need a Dubai visa before they fly. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Central African Republic as visa required. We prepare the file, with a Dubai tourism company or a resident relative as sponsor. GDRFA charges AED 210 for 30 days and lists 48 hours.

What fits your trip

  • Visit or holiday: a tourist visa through a licensed tourism company.
  • Family in the UAE: a sponsored visit visa through ICP.
  • Work: a visit visa does not allow work. Your employer files a work permit.

Fees

Visa Government fee
Tourist, 30 days, one entry AED 210
Tourist, 60 days, one entry AED 315

Source: GDRFA tourist visa pages, checked . VAT is included. A service charge from the agent comes on top.

Sponsor pay, per ICP: AED 4,000 for a parent, spouse or child. AED 8,000 for a brother, sister, grandparent, uncle or aunt. AED 15,000 for a friend.

What Bangui applicants prepare

  • Passport valid for 6 months or longer, photo page scanned in colour
  • A passport photo
  • A ticket out of the UAE
  • Health cover accepted in the UAE
  • If a relative sponsors you: their Emirates ID, residence visa, pay proof and a document that links you to them

Consulate in Dubai

The UAE foreign ministry lists a Central African Republic Consulate in Dubai. It lists no embassy in Abu Dhabi. We do not publish contact details. For a passport renewal or a document stamp, ask the consulate.

Getting out of Bangui

The UK Foreign Office advises against all travel to the Central African Republic, and against all but essential travel to Bangui, including M'Poko airport. Its page was updated in May. This is advice from the UK to its own citizens. It matters here because flights from Bangui are limited, and your Dubai visa has to cover the date you can actually fly. A tourist visa stays valid for a set window after issue, so avoid applying too early. Our processing time guide explains the timing.

From scan to e-visa

  1. Passport scan and dates go to the adviser.
  2. The adviser picks the route and names a total.
  3. The file is filed once you approve.
  4. The e-visa arrives, and you carry a printed copy.

A tourist visa has a validity window from issue. Apply when your flight dates are fixed.

How it works with us

Tell us who is travelling and when, with a passport copy. We check the file by hand, quote one total, and file only after you accept. GDRFA or ICP decides. We are a private visa service and never the authority.

On a refusal the state keeps its fees. We say in writing before you pay whether any part of our charge is returned.

Questions people ask

Do Central African citizens need a visa for Dubai?

Yes. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Central African Republic as visa required. The visa must be issued before you board, so nothing can be arranged at the airport.

How much is a Dubai tourist visa for a Central African passport?

GDRFA lists AED 210 for 30 days and AED 315 for 60 days, single entry, VAT included. Agents add a service charge, so ask for the government fee as a separate line.

Where can Central Africans renew a passport in the UAE?

The UAE foreign ministry lists a Central African Republic Consulate in Dubai and no embassy in Abu Dhabi. Ask the consulate for passport and consular services.

Can I travel from Bangui to Dubai directly?

We cannot confirm direct flights. Most routes connect elsewhere, and the airline of your first flight checks the Dubai visa at check-in. Keep the e-visa ready before the first leg.

Can a relative in Dubai invite me from Bangui?

If the relative holds UAE residence and meets the ICP salary rule, yes. A parent, spouse or child needs AED 4,000 a month, a sibling AED 8,000.
