Eswatini passports need a UAE visa today. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Kingdom of Eswatini as visa required before travel. A visa waiver agreement between the two countries was signed on , but we did not find a start date or a ministry list change.
What was signed
A news report says the UAE Minister of State, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, and Eswatini's Minister of Home Affairs, Princess Lindiwe, signed an agreement to waive entry visas for travel between the two countries. The report gives no start date and no passport categories. The ministry list we read on still showed visa required and noted no change.
So the safe plan is to treat the visa as needed until the ministry list says otherwise.
Two ways to get the visa
A licensed Dubai tourism company can file a GDRFA tourist visa. Or a UAE resident relative or friend can host you through ICP. GDRFA lists AED 210 for 30 days and AED 315 for 60 days, both single entry with VAT included. On the ICP route the host pays a refundable guarantee of AED 1,000 on a single entry visa.

The host must earn a monthly minimum set by ICP: AED 4,000 if you are a parent, spouse or child, AED 8,000 for a sibling and AED 15,000 for a friend.
What to gather
Your passport, valid 6 months or more, as a clear colour scan. A passport photo. An onward ticket. Health insurance valid in the UAE. A family host adds an Emirates ID, residence papers and proof of the relationship.
How long
GDRFA lists 48 hours for a complete tourist file. ICP lists 2 days. The UAE accredited missions list includes Eswatini, but we have no city or service details for it.
