Israeli passport holders do not need a visa for Dubai. The UAE foreign ministry lists the State of Israel as visa free, and the rule is a free multiple entry visit visa on arrival, valid for 6 months, up to 90 days in total. The Embassy of Israel in Abu Dhabi has also published guidelines for Israeli travellers, dated .
Entry rule for an Israeli passport
The officer at passport control grants the visit entry at no charge. The airline list names the same 90 days. Paid or unpaid work is off the table on it. Near the limit, count your days: the 90 add up across visits.
Cost and stay
| What | Price | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Arriving on an Israeli passport | Free | MOFA list, Emirates list |
| Applying to extend | AED 100 | ICP |
| The extension itself | AED 500 | ICP |
| Each day over your permitted stay | AED 50 | ICP announcement |
Prices from MOFA and ICP pages read in . ICP's ceiling for a tourist visit is 120 days, so living here means a residence or work route.
What the Israeli embassy tells travellers
The Embassy of Israel opened in Abu Dhabi on . Its guidelines page says the UAE is "a safe and welcoming destination for visitors" and then lists what to avoid. Some points that matter for planning:
- Dual nationals. If you hold another passport and enter on it, the embassy may be unable to give consular help, and the UAE may treat you as a citizen of that country. The embassy recommends using the Israeli passport in and out.
- Passport validity. The embassy recommends not flying on a passport valid for under one year. Airlines often set their own minimum.
- Photos and posts. Do not photograph or share images of government sites, military activity or security operations, or their aftermath. Posting them is prohibited and can lead to detention.
- Medicines. Cannabis, including medical cannabis, is prohibited. Some prescription medicines need prior approval, so check the UAE health ministry list before you pack.
- Flags. Non-UAE flags are allowed only within defined frameworks.
- If detained. You may ask for the Israeli Embassy to be told. Consular help does not exempt you from UAE law.
- Emergencies. Police 999, ambulance 998.
Read the live page before you travel, since the embassy updates it.
Services of the embassy in Abu Dhabi
The services page lists, for Israeli citizens, passport issue and extension, notarised affidavits, signature verification and birth and death certificates. For foreign citizens it lists entry visas for visiting Israel, ETA-IL approval, and work and student visa applications. We do not file Israeli visas. We handle UAE entry, extensions and residence questions.
When a visa is still needed
Your own entry needs none. A visa matters in these cases:
- A spouse, parent or friend on a passport that needs a UAE visit visa. You can sponsor some of them if you hold UAE residence. ICP asks AED 4,000 a month for first-degree relatives and AED 15,000 for friends.
- A family member who wants to stay longer than the free entry allows.
- A job offer. The employer files the work permit and residence, not a visit visa agent.
- A move to the UAE with a spouse and children, which is a residence visa and Emirates ID matter.
Steps before you fly
- Look at your passport: type, expiry, and the date of birth line.
- Holding two passports? Pick the one you will enter and leave on, with the embassy's advice in mind.
- Check any medicines against the UAE health ministry list.
- Save digital copies of passport and insurance.
How it works with us
Message us on WhatsApp or use the form on this page, and attach each traveller's passport page. An adviser separates the people who walk in free from the ones who need a visa, then gives you one total price for any extension or relative's visa. After you agree, our team files, follows up and sends you the result. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service and the UAE authorities make the decisions.
A refused application loses the government fee. Ask the adviser first: you get in writing which part of our total would be returned in that case, if any.
