The visa waiver that does not apply to you

Jamaica's foreign ministry says Jamaica and the UAE signed a visa waiver agreement in . Diplomatic and official passport holders need no visas. Ordinary Jamaican passport holders "may apply online". UAE passport holders get a visa on arrival in Jamaica. None of this makes an ordinary Jamaican passport visa free for the UAE, and the UAE list still reads Visa Required.

Nobody at a Jamaican mission nearby

The Jamaica Observer reported on that Jamaica closed its mission in Kuwait in . Jamaicans in the Middle East are served by the High Commission in London. A diaspora group asked for a mission in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and we found no later news that one opened. For a lost passport, ask the Jamaican foreign ministry which office to use.

What to gather

  • A passport valid 6 months past arrival, and a clear scan of the bio page
  • A passport photo on a white background
  • A return ticket and health insurance valid in the UAE
  • For a family visit: your host's Emirates ID, residence visa and salary proof

From request to e-visa

  1. You send us the documents.
  2. We pick the visa type and quote one total price.
  3. The sponsor files with GDRFA.
  4. The e-visa lands in your email, and you print it.
  5. You fly inside the validity window and leave on time.

A job offer changes the visa

A tourist visa does not allow work. When a UAE employer offers you a job, the employer files a work permit and residence. Do not fly on a visit visa to start work. Stay past the visa end and the fine is AED 50 a day.

How it works with us

Message us your passport page and dates on WhatsApp. An adviser confirms the visa type and sends the one total price. We file only after you say yes, then follow up until the e-visa reaches your inbox. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service, and GDRFA or ICP decides.

Refused visas do not return the government fees. Your adviser writes down, before you pay, what part of our total, if any, comes back to you.
