Maldivians do not need to apply for a Dubai visit visa. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Maldives as visa free, and the entry rule is a free multiple entry visit visa on arrival, valid 6 months, with up to 90 days in total. Our help starts with family members, extensions and residence.
The rule at the airport

Where a Maldivian can still need a visa
- A spouse, relative or friend with another passport. If their nationality is on the visa required list, they need a visa filed before they fly. See Dubai visa by nationality.
- A longer stay. Past 90 days you need an extension or a change of status. Read the Dubai visa extension page.
- Work or study. Visa-free entry is for visits. A job needs a work permit and residence, applied for first, then converted.
- Domestic staff you bring along. They need their own visa route.

- Return or onward ticket
- Hotel booking or host address
- For a family trip: marriage certificate and children's birth certificates, when you travel with someone on a different passport
Embassy
A reference page says the Maldives has an embassy in Abu Dhabi. The Maldives mission site returned an error when we opened it, so we cannot list its consular services. Use the official mission site for passport renewal and document attestation.
