The Republic of the Marshall Islands is on the UAE foreign ministry's visa required list. A Marshallese passport needs a Dubai visa before you fly. A UAE tourism company files a GDRFA visa from AED 210 for 30 days, or a resident relative sponsors your visit through ICP.
Fee and timing
Source: GDRFA tourist visa service pages, checked . A 30 day single entry visa is AED 210 and a 60 day one is AED 315. Multiple entry costs AED 315 or AED 525. GDRFA lists 48 hours for a complete file. After the entry permit is issued, you have to enter within 60 days.
Papers
Your passport must be valid at least 6 months after you land. Add a colour scan of the photo page, an onward or return ticket and UAE health insurance. A sponsored visit adds the host's Emirates ID and residence visa. ICP asks the host for AED 4,000 a month for first degree relatives and AED 8,000 for siblings.
Staying longer
A tourist stay can be extended inside the UAE, with a cap of 120 days in total. A sponsored stay for a relative can go to 180 days in total. Ask us about the fee before the first visa runs out, since the cost depends on the route.
The ambassador to the UAE
On the UAE Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs received the credentials of Catalino Kijiner as Ambassador of the Republic of the Marshall Islands to the UAE. The announcement names climate action, sustainable development and coordination in international forums as areas of cooperation.
