A Nicaraguan passport is on the UAE foreign ministry's visa required list, so the visa has to exist before you board. Two routes work for most people: a GDRFA tourist visa filed by a Dubai company or airline (AED 210 for 30 days), or a visit visa sponsored by a relative who lives in the UAE. We file either one.
Pick the route
Have a sister, parent or friend with UAE residence? She can sponsor you through ICP, and she carries the guarantee. Nobody there? A tourist visa is cleaner: no host papers, and the Dubai company is the sponsor on record. A job offer changes everything, because an employer files the permit and a visit visa cannot be switched into it from abroad.

What Dubai agencies charge
Dubai visa agencies publish about AED 340 to AED 800 for a 30-day single entry visa (published prices of 8 Dubai agencies, checked ). That is the gap between the government fee and the agent's full price, so ask what the agent adds.

Your embassy
We found no Nicaraguan embassy in the UAE. The Emirati foreign ministry directory page for Nicaragua did not load a list when we tried, so we name none. Contact Nicaragua's foreign ministry for consular help in the Gulf.
Relations on record
The UAE Mission to the UN reports two memoranda of understanding with Nicaragua, signed in New York, on culture, agriculture, fisheries and nature conservation. They do not change visa rules for travellers.

- Host salary under the ICP tier of AED 4,000 for first degree relatives
- Return ticket missing or dated after the visa ends
- A past overstay
