A Suriname passport needs a Dubai visa before you travel. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Republic of Suriname as visa required. A licensed Dubai tourism company, hotel or UAE airline files a GDRFA tourist visa. The government fee is AED 210 for 30 days or AED 315 for 60 days on a single entry, and GDRFA states 48 hours for a complete file.
The short version
- Rule: visa required, issued before boarding.
- Filed by: a Dubai tourism company, or a resident relative through ICP.
- Stay: 30 or 60 days, with extensions up to 120 days in total.
- Fee: see below. Agency charges are extra.
Fees checked on 25 October
| Visa type | Government fee |

| Single entry, 60 days | AED 315 |
| Multiple entry, 30 days | AED 315 |
| Multiple entry, 60 days | AED 525 |

Flights from Paramaribo
Suriname has few direct links to the Gulf, so most trips connect through Europe or the Americas. A visa for the UAE says nothing about the stop in between. Some stops ask about transit for your passport. Send us your full routing and we flag any leg that needs its own paper.
What the file needs
Passport with six months left from landing, a scan of the data page, a recent photo on white, a ticket that leaves the UAE, and cover from an insurer that works here. Family visits also need the host's Emirates ID, residence visa, a salary certificate and proof of the relationship.
No Suriname mission on the UAE list
We read the foreign ministry's list of foreign missions in the UAE and did not find Suriname. We found no embassy to ask for passport help, so check with Suriname's foreign ministry. No embassy can issue a UAE visa anyway. That comes from GDRFA or ICP.

How it works with us
Message us the passport page and dates. An adviser identifies the visa that suits the trip and gives a single price in writing. Our team lodges the request, deals with queries and sends you the e-visa by email. We are a private visa service, not part of any government, and GDRFA or ICP makes the call.
Refusals do not bring back the government fee. Ahead of payment, your adviser spells out in writing which part of our price, if any, would be returned.
