Angola's visa rule follows the passport, not your UAE residence permit. Presidential Decree No. 189/23 of exempts 98 countries from the tourist visa for up to 90 days, and the UAE is on the list. If your passport is not, you apply on the Angolan e-visa portal. We check which case you are and file it.
What the decree covers
The Angolan embassy in Hungary publishes the list. Its summary says the exemption applies to tourist visas only and allows stays of up to 90 days. It does not cover work, study, medical treatment or residence, for which you go to an Angolan embassy or consulate.
The UAE appears on the list as a country, which presumably means Emirati passport holders. The page does not say that a UAE residence permit alone counts. If you hold another passport, we check it against the list line by line.
The e-visa portal
The portal at evisa.ao offers tourism and business visas. Its page says processing takes 72 hours and mentions a visa processing fee without giving an amount on the page we read. It also serves citizens of exempt countries, whom it describes as exempt for up to 30 days per entry and 90 days annually. That wording differs from the decree summary. Until Angola clarifies, plan on the shorter reading.
Fees
Angola's visa fee is not shown on the portal page we read, so we quote none. Dubai visa agencies set their own service price. You get one total price on WhatsApp before you pay.
Documents
We confirm the exact list when we file. Expect the usual items: a passport valid well beyond the stay, a photo, your UAE residence permit, hotel or host details and a return ticket. Check each against the portal before you travel.

Refusals
Refusal reasons are not shown to us. A missing document, a passport near expiry or unclear plans are typical.
