Bruneians do not need to apply before flying to the UAE. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists Brunei Darussalam as visa free, with a free 30-day visit visa on arrival. If you want to stay longer, bring a relative, or work, that is where we help.
Staying past 30 days
Fees, as ICP and MOFA list them: the arrival visa is free; an extension is AED 100 for the application plus AED 500; a day over costs AED 50. Source: MOFA and ICP pages, checked . We found no published agency price for this passport.
File an extension inside the UAE before the 30 days end. A tourist visit is capped at 120 days in total. The extension guide lists the steps, and the overstay fine guide shows what a late exit costs.
Parents and relatives
A relative on a Brunei passport needs nothing for 30 days. A longer sponsored visit is another matter. The ICP visa for a relative costs AED 100 for the application plus AED 100 per month. Sponsor salary tiers: AED 4,000 for parents, spouse and children, AED 8,000 for siblings and grandparents. See the family visit visa.
At the airport
Carry your Brunei passport with enough validity for the stay, a return or onward ticket and the address where you will sleep. The officer stamps the free 30-day permit. Count 30 days from that stamp, not from the day you booked.
Embassy
The UAE foreign ministry received a copy of the credentials of Brunei's ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Haji Ahmad Bin Haji Jumat, on . We found no official page that gives consular hours, so check with Brunei's foreign ministry before you plan a document visit.
Going the other way
Brunei has its own rules for entry. If you live in the UAE and want to visit Brunei, see Brunei visa for UAE residents.
How it works with us
Send your passport details and plans. An adviser tells you whether you need nothing, an extension or a different visa, with one total price. Then the team files the case and tracks it. We are a private visa service, and ICP or GDRFA decides.
If a government application is refused, the authorities keep their fees. Before you pay, your adviser puts in writing what part of our total, if any, comes back.
