The Ministry of Foreign Affairs puts Chile on its visa free list and the airline Emirates publishes the detail: a free multiple entry visit visa given on arrival, 6 months validity, 90 days in total. Chile's embassy is in Abu Dhabi. Its website says it aims to strengthen Chile's presence in the Arabian peninsula and the Gulf, and it directs people to consular portals for visa information, apostille and citizen support. We do not replace the embassy for passports or civil documents.

Chilean media reported on 3 March 2026 that the foreign ministry was in contact with Chileans in the Middle East, around 150 of whom had asked for help while UAE airspace was fully or partly closed.
