Guatemalans need a Dubai visa before they travel. The UAE foreign ministry lists Guatemala as visa required, so you cannot get a visa on arrival. For a holiday, a licensed Dubai company files a GDRFA tourist visa: AED 210 for 30 days, single entry. We handle the filing and send you the e-visa.

The embassy
Guatemala's embassy sits in Abu Dhabi, per the UAE foreign ministry directory, and the list shows nothing in Dubai. Renewals and consular papers go there. A UAE visa does not, since only the UAE issues those.
Flying through the US or Europe
Routes from Guatemala City usually pass through the US or Spain. Airlines check the UAE visa at the first check-in, so it must be ready before that leg. Allow about a week to file.
