On a Liberian passport the visa comes first and the ticket second. The UAE ministry lists the Republic of Liberia as visa required, with no visa on arrival. A licensed tourism company can file a short visit visa from AED 210, and a relative with UAE residence can sponsor a longer stay.

The Liberian mission in the UAE
The UAE foreign ministry's list of missions accredited to the UAE names the Republic of Liberia. The city, services and contact details sit behind an interactive map that we could not read, so we do not give an address or promise a service. Look the mission up on that page before you plan a passport renewal or a document attestation.

- A company or airline files for a short holiday.
- A relative in the UAE hosts you, with ICP income tiers of AED 4,000, AED 8,000 or AED 15,000.
- An employer files the permit if you have a job.
One shortcut that skips Liberia
ICP has a 60-day entry visa for people who live abroad on a Western visa or residence. It names seven passports and Liberia is missing from them, so a Liberian living in the US or the UK still uses the ordinary GDRFA or sponsor route.

- If a relative hosts you: their Emirates ID, residence visa, salary certificate and a paper showing the family link.
How it works with us

If the visa is refused, the fee paid to the authorities stays with them. You get a written line before paying that says what part of our price, if any, would return.
