Micronesian passport holders cannot get a free visa at Dubai airport. UAE MOFA puts the Federated States of Micronesia in the visa required group, so the e-visa must exist before boarding. GDRFA lists AED 210 for 30 days and AED 315 for 60 days. Or a host with UAE residence applies through ICP. We handle the filing.

The foreign ministry's exemption page shows Micronesia as visa required and adds no special condition. We read it on .
No Micronesian government page about travelling to the UAE came up in our research, and we found no Micronesian mission in the UAE. So this page makes no claim about consular help. UAE embassies do not issue tourist visas either, which leaves two routes: a licensed Dubai company, or a resident host.
Money
Four numbers cover most trips:
- AED 210: 30 days, single entry.
- AED 315: 60 days single entry, and also 30 days with multiple entries.
- AED 100 plus AED 500: one extension inside the UAE, up to 120 days overall.
- AED 50 a day: the fine after your permitted stay ends.

Hosting rules
ICP sets the host's income by relationship. A parent, spouse or child needs AED 4,000 a month. Cousins, uncles, aunts, siblings and grandparents need AED 8,000. A friend needs AED 15,000. Expect the refundable guarantee of AED 1,000 on a single entry visit.
What you hand over
A passport with 6 months left on arrival, a clear scan of the photo page, one passport photo on white, a booked exit flight and UAE medical insurance. A host adds an Emirates ID, a residence visa and proof of kinship.
After you arrive
