Monaco passport holders need no visa before flying to Dubai. UAE MOFA lists the Principality of Monaco as visa free, with a free 30-day visit visa on arrival. We help if you want more time: ICP charges AED 100 plus AED 500 for an extension, up to 120 days in total. We also arrange visas for companions on other passports.
Entry rule
The MOFA exemption page we read on shows Monaco as visa free. The entry rule behind it is a free visit visa on arrival for 30 days. You show your passport at the immigration desk, and no application is filed in advance.
Monaco does not appear to run a consular office in the UAE. The embassy of Monaco accredited to the UAE operates from London.
What Monaco says about travel
Two Monaco government texts matter here, and both are from the early days of March.
- 28 February notice. Monegasque nationals in the Middle East are urged to use the utmost caution, limit their movements and follow local security instructions. They are asked to register with France's Fil d'Ariane service and tell the government where they are. It does not name the UAE.
- 1 March embassy statement. The embassy said travel to the UAE was strongly discouraged until further notice and told residents to limit movements and take shelter in an alert.
Both are old by now. Read Monaco's current notice before you buy a ticket, and treat our summary as a record of what was published, not today's advice.
