Monaco visa for UAE residents

We prepare your Schengen visa file, check every document and book the slot, so you only attend fingerprints. Monaco accepts the Schengen visa and has no separate visa for non-EEA visitors.

We prepare your Schengen file for Monaco

Last updated

Monaco has no visa of its own for most visitors. Its public service portal says nationals of countries outside the European Economic Area need a valid passport and a Schengen visa. We prepare that Schengen file from Dubai, check every document and book the slot. The adult fee is EUR 90, and some passports are exempt for stays under 90 days.

What Monaco says

The Monaco public service portal, read on , separates two groups. Nationals of the European Economic Area and associated states need only a passport or a valid identity card. Everyone else needs a passport and a visa for the Schengen area.

It adds that some nationalities are exempt for stays under 90 days and points to a list on the French Service-Public.fr site. We did not open that list. Your UAE residence permit does not change which group you are in. Your passport decides.

Which state do you apply to

Monaco has no embassy in the UAE that we could find. The embassy of Monaco accredited to the UAE works from London. So you file with a Schengen state, usually the one you enter first or stay in longest. For the Riviera that is often France, and our France visa from Dubai page covers its file. The wider rules are in Schengen visa from Dubai, and slot hunting is explained in Schengen visa appointment Dubai.

Documents for the Schengen file

  • Passport valid beyond your trip and issued within the last 10 years
  • Travel medical insurance of at least EUR 30,000
  • Bookings for your hotel and flights
  • Proof of money and of your UAE residence

Each Schengen state adds its own list, so we confirm it before you pay.

How it works with us

Send the passport copy and dates by WhatsApp or the form here. An adviser checks whether you need the visa at all, picks the state to file with and quotes one total. The team prepares the file, books the visa centre slot and follows the case. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service. The Schengen state decides, not us.

A refused Schengen visa does not return the visa fee. Before you pay, your adviser writes down which part of our total, if any, would come back.

Questions people ask

Do UAE residents need a visa for Monaco?

If your passport needs a Schengen visa, yes. Monaco's public service portal says nationals of countries outside the European Economic Area must hold a valid passport and a Schengen visa. A UAE residence permit does not replace it. Some nationalities are exempt for stays under 90 days.

Is there a separate Monaco visa?

Not in the rules we read. The Monaco portal asks non-EEA visitors for a Schengen visa and names no Monaco visa. You apply to the Schengen state you will enter or stay in the longest, then travel on to the Principality.

Where can UAE residents find the list of visa-exempt nationalities for Monaco?

Monaco's portal points to the visa exemption list on the French Service-Public.fr site. We have not opened that list, so an adviser checks your passport against it. Some passports can stay under 90 days without a visa.

Is there a Monaco embassy in Dubai or Abu Dhabi?

We found none. Monaco's embassy accredited to the UAE operates from London, according to its own statement of 1 March. A visa for Monaco is not issued by a Monaco office in the UAE.

How much is the Schengen visa for a Monaco trip?

The adult Schengen visa fee is EUR 90 on the European Commission visa policy page, with EUR 45 for children aged 6 to 12. The visa centre adds its own service fee. Dubai agencies publish their own prices on top, which vary.

Can I stay in Monaco for more than 90 days on a Schengen visa?

No. A Schengen short stay visa allows up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the whole Schengen area. Monaco counts inside that limit with France and the other member states.
