Myanmar passports are on the UAE foreign ministry's visa required list. That means a Dubai visa must be issued before you fly. A licensed Dubai company files a GDRFA tourist visa at AED 210 for 30 days, and a relative who holds UAE residence can sponsor a visit visa through ICP.
Match the visa to the trip
A holiday uses a GDRFA tourist visa for 30 or 60 days. A stay with family uses a visit visa sponsored by the relative. A job you have already been offered uses a work permit and residence, filed by the employer. A visit visa never allows paid work, so do not start a job on one.
Government fees

Papers
Your passport needs 6 months or more of validity. Bring a colour scan of the photo page with all four corners visible, a passport photo, an onward ticket and health insurance that works in the UAE. GDRFA lists 48 hours for a full file, and ICP lists 2 days for a relative's visit visa.
Hosts and salary
ICP asks a host to earn AED 4,000 a month to sponsor a parent, spouse or child, and AED 8,000 for a sibling. A single entry visit visa carries a refundable guarantee of AED 1,000. The family visit visa page has the document list.
Diplomatic mission
The Myanmar foreign ministry website opened for us, but what we read did not name a Myanmar embassy in the UAE. We list none. Ask the ministry before a passport renewal.

How it works with us
