For a North Macedonian passport the sources do not match. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Republic of North Macedonia as visa required, while the Emirates airline page says check before you fly. We treat a visa as needed unless the authority confirms otherwise, and file it for you: AED 210 for 30 days, single entry.
The visa memorandum is narrow
On the UAE foreign ministry announced a memorandum on visa exemption with North Macedonia. The text says holders of UAE diplomatic and special passports get visa-free entry to North Macedonia. It does not make ordinary North Macedonian passports visa-free for the UAE, so do not read it that way.

Dubai visa agencies publish about AED 340 to AED 800 for a 30-day single entry visa (published prices of 8 Dubai agencies, checked ).
Your embassy
The UAE foreign ministry directory lists the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Abu Dhabi, ambassador HE Abdulkadar Memedi. The page lists no consular services, so ask the embassy what it handles before you go.
Papers
- A North Macedonian passport valid for 6 months or more after landing
- The photo page scanned in colour
- One recent photo on white
- A return flight out of the UAE and health cover that works there
- Hosted by family: their Emirates ID, residence visa and salary letter
Family sponsor or tourist company
A relative with UAE residence can sponsor your visit through ICP instead. ICP sets the host's minimum monthly salary by relationship: AED 4,000, AED 8,000 or AED 15,000 for a friend. A single entry visit visa also carries a refundable AED 1,000 guarantee.
