Saint Lucia sits on the UAE's visa required list, so a Saint Lucian passport cannot be used to fly to Dubai without an e-visa. We prepare the application and check it. A licensed Dubai tourism company then files a GDRFA tourist visa: AED 210 for 30 days, AED 315 for 60 days, single entry.

Get these ready
Your passport needs 6 months of validity or more. Add a scan of the data page, a passport photo, a return ticket and health insurance valid in the UAE. Flights from the Eastern Caribbean to Dubai usually connect through Europe or North America, so check whether the connection city needs a transit visa for you. That check depends on the airline and the route, which is why we look at it before you buy.
Staying with a relative
A relative with UAE residence can sponsor you through ICP. Salary bars: AED 4,000 for first-degree relatives, AED 8,000 for second and third-degree relatives, AED 15,000 for friends. The visit can run 30, 60 or 90 days.
Your government's help
We found no Saint Lucian embassy page covering the UAE and no travel notice from Saint Lucia about entering the UAE. We say nothing on either point. Ask your foreign ministry before you fly.
