Sudan sits on the UAE's visa required list, so a Sudanese passport cannot be used to board a flight to Dubai without a visa already issued. For a holiday, a Dubai tourism company or a UAE airline applies to GDRFA for you. For family, a resident relative applies through ICP. Either way the e-visa reaches you by email, usually within the 48 hours GDRFA quotes.
Which route fits you
You have no relatives in the UAE. Use a tourism company, hotel or airline. They apply on your behalf and pay the government fee.
A brother, sister, parent or child lives here with residence. They can invite you. Their salary decides whether ICP accepts the file: AED 4,000 a month for parents, spouse and children, AED 8,000 for siblings and grandparents, AED 15,000 for a friend.
You have a job offer. The employer files a work permit. A visit visa cannot be switched into one.
What the authorities charge
A 30-day tourist visa costs AED 210 and a 60-day one AED 315. Multiple entry versions are AED 315 and AED 525. If you are already in the UAE and need more time, ICP charges AED 100 to apply and AED 500 for the extension, and stops tourist stays at 120 days overall. Staying past your date costs AED 50 a day. What to prepare
Passport with six months left. A clear scan of the photo page. A recent photo, plain white behind you. A ticket showing you leave the UAE. Medical cover that works here. A relative's Emirates ID and salary certificate if they invite you.
Sudan's mission in the UAE
The foreign ministry's list of missions in the UAE includes the Republic of the Sudan. We could not open a Sudanese government page about its consular work, so we list no services. Ask the mission about passports and attestation. It cannot grant a UAE visa.
