Taiwan is not on the UAE foreign ministry's visa exemption list that we read on . That is not the same as visa required, because the page gives no rule for Taiwan at all. So we check the rule for your ROC passport before you book. If a visa is needed, GDRFA lists AED 210 for 30 days, single entry.
What we checked
The ministry's page lists nationalities as visa free or visa required. Taiwan is on neither list. We will not guess the rule from that. A wrong guess can mean a refused boarding.
Here is what we do:
- You send the passport page and your plan.
- We confirm the entry rule with GDRFA or the airline on your route.
- If a visa is needed, we file a visit visa before you fly.

Taiwan's office in the UAE
Taiwan's foreign ministry lists The Commercial Office of Taipei, Dubai, U.A.E. as its representative office here. The ministry says it provides consular help to ROC passport holders: visas, passports and authentication, in business hours. These are Taiwanese services. They do not include a UAE visa.
Taiwan does not appear in the UAE foreign ministry's list of foreign missions in the UAE, which is why the Dubai office is worth knowing about.

Taiwanese living in the UAE
