Tajik citizens need a Dubai visa before they fly. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Republic of Tajikistan as visa required. Most visitors use a Dubai tourism company or a UAE airline, which files a GDRFA visa for AED 210 (30 days) or AED 315 (60 days). Others come on an invitation from a resident relative, filed through ICP.

Government fees for the tourist route
The 30 day permit is AED 210 on a single entry and AED 315 on multiple entry. The 60 day permit is AED 315 or AED 525. An extension through ICP is AED 100 plus AED 500. Tourist stays end at 120 days in total.
Why files for Tajik passports stall
- A scan that cuts off the machine readable lines at the foot of the page.
- A passport with fewer than six months left.
- A sponsor whose salary certificate is older than the file or does not reach the tier.
- A ticket that ends after the permit does.
What not to do
Do not take a job on a visit visa. If you find work, the employer must file a work permit and residence before you start. The fine for overstaying is AED 50 a day.
Tajikistan's mission
