A Togo passport needs a Dubai visa before travel. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Togolese Republic as visa required. A Dubai tourism firm, hotel or airline files a GDRFA tourist visa for AED 210 (30 days) or AED 315 (60 days), single entry, and GDRFA lists 48 hours. A relative with UAE residence can sponsor you instead.
What the UAE says about Togo
The foreign ministry visa exemption page shows Togo in the visa required group. That means no visa on arrival and no check-in at Lome without the permit. Airlines look for the e-visa at the desk.

- For a family visit: the host's Emirates ID, visa and proof of relationship

A visit is not a work permit
If you have a job offer in the UAE, the employer files the work permit and residence. A visit visa cannot be switched into a job without leaving the process the employer runs. We found no Togo government notice on work in the Gulf, so ask the recruiter for a written offer first.
Togolese in the UAE
An embassy of Togo in Abu Dhabi appears in directories, but we could not confirm it on a Togo government page. Before you rely on it, check the Togo foreign ministry website. Visas for the UAE are not issued by it anyway.
