You get a Dubai visa from India by having it filed online in the UAE, not by visiting a UAE office. A licensed Dubai tourism company, an airline or a visa service files it with GDRFA or ICP, and the e-visa arrives by email in about 48 hours. The GDRFA fee is AED 210 for 30 days, and agencies charge more because they add their service.
Who actually files the visa
A UAE tourist visa has a UAE sponsor. In Dubai that is an accredited tourism establishment, and GDRFA lists AED 210 for 30 days single entry when it is filed that way. Someone in India reaches that sponsor in four ways:
- A Dubai visa service like ours, which files for you and quotes one total.
- An airline that sells the visa with your ticket.
- A travel agent in India who passes the file to a Dubai company. This adds a layer and a fee.
- A relative in the UAE, who can sponsor a visit visa through ICP or GDRFA if they meet the salary rules.
The UAE Embassy in New Delhi lists a Visas service on its MOFA page. We could not read the detail, so we do not tell you to use it for a tourist visa. Ask your agent which authority is filing.
The fee, and what you really pay
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| GDRFA, 30 days single entry | AED 210 |
| GDRFA, 60 days single entry | AED 315 |
| Dubai agencies, 30 days single entry | AED 340 to AED 800 |

The amount you pay from India also includes whatever your seller charges and the card or transfer cost. We do not know your bank's rate, so ask for the total in rupees and in dirhams before you pay. The full table of types is on the tourist visa for Indians page.
India's own rules that touch the trip
- ECR passports. India's Ministry of External Affairs lists the UAE among its ECR countries. Clearance applies to people going to work. A traveller on a visit visa shows a valid passport, a valid visa and a return ticket.
- Fraud warnings. The Consulate General of India in Dubai posted an advisory on fraudulent visa and migration processing agencies on . We did not read the PDF itself. As a rule, be careful with any seller who asks for money first and shows no company name.
- Consulates. The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai look after Indian citizens in the UAE. They do not decide UAE visas.
What you need to send
- Passport, valid 6 months from landing, colour scan of the data page
- Photo on a white background
- Return ticket and travel dates
- UAE health insurance details
- If you hold a US, UK, EU or other qualifying visa or residence, a copy of it
If you do hold such a document, read the visa on arrival for Indians page first. It can be cheaper. For the full document list by route, see requirements for Indians.
How long it takes
GDRFA states 48 hours. ICP states 2 days for its 60-day visa. Weekends and UAE public holidays add time. Our usual advice is one week before your flight, and no more than a few weeks, since the e-visa must be used within its entry window.
How it works with us
Send your passport copy and travel dates on WhatsApp, or fill in the form on this page. An adviser checks your papers, tells you which visa fits and what the choice costs, and gives you one total in writing. You pay after that. Our team files it in the UAE, follows it to approval and emails you the visa. We are a private visa service and not a government body. GDRFA or ICP makes the decision.
A refused visa keeps the government fee with the authorities. Before payment your adviser states in writing what part of our total, if any, comes back.
