A Greece visa from Dubai is a Schengen visa for UAE residents whose passport needs one. You lodge it at a Greek visa centre in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and the Embassy of Greece in Abu Dhabi decides. The adult fee is EUR 90. Expect a decision in 15 days, at most 45. Which company runs the Dubai centre is unclear, so confirm it on the embassy's page first.
The open question: which centre
We could not settle the operator from a page we could open. Here is where things stand:
- The Greek Embassy in Abu Dhabi says it issues visas to UAE residents and that short-stay (type C) files go in at Greek visa centres in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
- The embassy's contact page links to VFS Global.
- Some recent travel guides name another company, Global Visa Centre World (GVCW).
- VFS listings place the Greek desk at Wafi Mall, Phase 5 Horus, in Dubai. That address comes from search snippets only.
So: do not book through a link from a search ad. Go to the Greek Embassy in Abu Dhabi's site, find the visa section, and follow its link. Book on whatever site it sends you to. If an agency claims a Greek slot, ask which centre it is at.

What Dubai agencies charge for Greece
Published agency prices for a Greece tourist visa service run from about AED 325 to AED 1,200 (published prices of 4 Dubai agencies, checked ). They exclude the EUR 90 visa fee where the page lists inclusions.
What to prepare for a Greek file
- Passport with 3 months left after you leave Schengen and two blank pages.
- UAE residence visa and Emirates ID valid past your return. Confirm the minimum on the checklist of the centre the embassy links to.
- Completed and signed Schengen application form.
- Photo.
- Travel medical insurance, at least EUR 30,000 cover, valid in all Schengen states.
- Flight reservation, including ferry bookings if you hop between islands and they are part of your plan.
- Hotel bookings for every night, island by island.
- Bank statements for recent months.
- Employer letter or salary certificate with approved leave.
A short day-by-day plan helps with island trips. It shows the officer that your nights add up to the dates on the form.
Step by step for Greece
- Count your nights. If Greece has the most, it is a Greek file.
- Find the visa centre through the Greek Embassy in Abu Dhabi's site.
- Download that centre's checklist and form.
- Book an appointment between 6 months and 15 days before you travel.
- Attend in person, pay, and give biometrics.
- Track the file. The embassy in Abu Dhabi decides and the passport comes back through the centre.

Processing time
Use the EU baseline when you plan: 15 days, which can stretch to 45. Snippets of the embassy page mention 15 days with longer periods in exceptional cases, but we could not open the page, so we do not quote those figures as confirmed. Greece is a summer destination for many UAE families. Book in spring if you want a June or July trip.
Common reasons Greek visas are refused
- Island-hopping with gaps. Nights without a booking, or a route that does not fit the dates.
- Wrong country. More nights in Italy than in Greece. A side trip to Türkiye does not help, since Türkiye is not in Schengen.
- Weak return ties. Residence visa ending soon after, no leave letter.
- Funds too low for a summer holiday at island prices.
- Insurance that does not cover the whole trip.
How it works with us
Send the passport copy, Emirates ID and your island plan on WhatsApp or through the form on this page. A visa adviser first checks the embassy's current link to see which centre is taking Greek files, then confirms Greece is the right country for your nights. You see one total price before paying. We prepare the form, the itinerary and the bookings file, and book the slot at the centre the embassy names. You attend for biometrics. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service. The Greek Embassy in Abu Dhabi decides.
Greece does not refund the visa fee after a refusal. Before you pay, your adviser explains in writing what part of our total, if any, you get back if the answer is no.
