Nauru asks for a visa before you go. The UK foreign office says "you must have a visa to visit Nauru", and Canada lists tourist, business and student visas as required. We found no rule that waives it for UAE residents. Your passport and purpose decide the file.

What we could not confirm
The Nauru government visa pages did not open for us, so we cannot give the fee, the processing time or the application form. Search sites mention a tourist fee of A$100 on arrival, but we did not verify it and do not rely on it. An adviser confirms the current figure before you pay.

Plan the trip early
Nauru is a small island, and few airlines serve it, so seats on the route can be scarce. Book a refundable ticket only after the visa is cleared, because customs may ask to see your return. Keep a printed copy of the approval, the ticket and the sponsor letter together in hand luggage, and check the passport date once more the week before you fly.
