Fiji gives visa-free entry to a list of countries, and everyone else applies online on IMMIHUB. Living in the UAE does not move you onto the list. The visa costs FJD 93.00 for a single entry and FJD 185.00 for multiple entry, and the ministry quotes 14 working days to process it.
Step one: is your passport exempt?
Visitors from visa-exempt countries enter without a visa and get a visitor permit on arrival. Everyone else needs a visa or permit first, and the ministry says to lodge before buying the ticket. The exempt list page loaded as a script-built page for us without a readable table, so we compare your passport with it by hand.
The one UAE-specific rule is for Emirati passports. A mutual exemption signed in Dubai on lets holders of both countries' ordinary passports travel for up to ninety days with no visa (Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

What goes in the file
- Certified copy of the passport bio page
- Two recent passport photos
- Bank statement or visa card as proof of funds
- Travel itinerary or ticket
- Hotel confirmation for a holiday, or a sponsor letter for business
- Consent letters if a minor travels alone
How it works with us
You send the passport page and your dates on WhatsApp. We read the exempt list for you, then tell you plainly if no visa is needed. If one is, we set up the IMMIHUB account, upload the documents and watch the file until it clears. You get one total price before anything is filed. We are a private visa service, and Fiji's Ministry of Immigration decides.
Fiji does not hand back the visa fee after a refusal. Before you pay, your adviser tells you in writing what part of our total, if any, returns in that case.
Timing
Fourteen working days is nearly three weeks. Add the time to certify a passport copy. Leave a month if your flight is fixed.
