If you live in Dubai and hold a passport on Singapore's visa list, such as Indian, Egyptian or Bangladeshi, you need a visa before you fly. You apply through a local contact in Singapore, one of the visa agents the Singapore Consulate in Dubai has appointed, or the Consulate itself. The visa fee is S$30, plus a AED 65 service fee when an agent files it.
Who needs a Singapore visa
Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) keeps a list of passports that need a visa. It includes Egypt, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Russia and Ukraine, among others. Holders of UAE temporary passports are on it too.
If your passport is not on the ICA list, you can travel without a visa and follow the normal arrival steps. Living in the UAE has no effect either way. Two neighbours in the same Dubai building can get different answers, so check your own nationality on the ICA page.
Three ways to apply
ICA names three routes, and all of them work for UAE residents.
Through a local contact in Singapore
A Singapore citizen or permanent resident can apply for you online with Singpass. A Singapore company can do it with Corppass. This suits people visiting family or coming for a work meeting with a host company.
Through an appointed visa agent in Dubai
The Singapore Consulate General in Dubai lists two agents it has appointed: Uranus Travel and Tours, and VFS (GCC). They charge the AED 65 service fee per visa on top of the visa fee. A private visa service can prepare your papers, but only an appointed agent, a local contact or the mission can lodge them.
At the Singapore mission
You can also apply at the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission. Check the Consulate page in Dubai for how it accepts applications.

What Dubai agencies charge
Dubai visa agencies publish about AED 160 to AED 850 for Singapore visa help (published prices of 6 Dubai agencies, checked ). These are starting prices, and only some pages say the government fee is inside. Compare like with like.
Documents for a Singapore tourist visa
The form and checklist on the ICA site are the reference. For a holiday from Dubai, have these ready:
- Passport valid for the trip.
- UAE residence visa and Emirates ID.
- The completed visa application form and a recent photo in the ICA format.
- A return or onward flight booking.
- Hotel booking, or the address of the person you stay with.
- Recent bank statements and a letter from your employer in the UAE.
If a local contact applies for you, they may need some of your details and copies, so send them early.
Processing time
The Singapore Consulate page in Dubai does not state a processing time, and we have not found one on an official page. Apply well before you buy non-refundable flights. If you are close to your travel date, ask the agent or your local contact what they are seeing right now before you submit.
Length of stay
This is the rule people often get wrong. A Singapore visa lets you travel and seek entry. It does not set your stay. ICA says the officer decides the length of stay and records it on your e-Pass at arrival, and that it is not tied to the visa's validity. Keep your return ticket and hotel bookings on hand at the counter.
Why Singapore visas get refused
- Form details that do not match your passport or residence visa.
- No clear purpose or plan for the visit.
- Funds that look too low for the trip.
- Past immigration problems in Singapore or elsewhere that were not declared.
- Wrong route. A local contact filing with old or wrong details about you.
How it works with us
Send your passport copy, UAE residence visa and dates on WhatsApp or through the form on this page. A visa adviser checks if your passport is on the ICA list, and whether a local contact route makes more sense for your trip. You get one total price before you pay. The team prepares the form, photo and supporting papers, then files it through the official route that fits your case and follows it until the decision comes back. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service and is not one of the Consulate's appointed agents. Singapore's ICA decides every visa.
The S$30 and AED 65 fees are non-refundable after a refusal. Before you pay us, your adviser writes down what part of our total, if any, comes back if the visa is refused.
