Tuvalu's entry rule depends on your passport. The page we could read, from the UK government, says British citizens can visit without a visa for up to one month, and the passport must have at least 6 months left on arrival. We could not read Tuvalu's own list, so we check it for your passport before you book.
What we could confirm
The UK government entry requirements page for Tuvalu gives three points, checked :
- A visa is not needed for up to one month (British passports).
- Longer stays, work or study need an extension from the Department of Immigration in Funafuti.
- The passport needs an expiry date at least 6 months after arrival.
The page shows no fee and no update date, so we quote no visa price.
What your UAE residence changes
Nothing at the Tuvalu border. Your UAE residence matters for leaving and returning to the UAE. Keep it valid for your whole trip. If you travel on an Indian, Filipino, Egyptian or Nigerian passport, do not assume the British rule applies to you.
Embassy of Tuvalu in Abu Dhabi
The UAE foreign ministry directory lists an Embassy of Tuvalu in Abu Dhabi, and a news item from reports the credentials of its ambassador. For a visa question on a non-British passport, the embassy is the right place to ask. We do not publish its contact details.
