A Kyrgyz passport has to carry a UAE visa at check-in. The UAE foreign ministry marks the Kyrgyz Republic as Visa Required. Our route is a GDRFA tourist visa filed by a licensed Dubai sponsor, from AED 210 for 30 days. Family in the UAE can sponsor you as well.
Where Kyrgyzstan wants this to go
Kyrgyzstan's foreign minister told the Emirati side, as 24.kg reported on , that Kyrgyzstan proposed a visa-free regime for Kyrgyzstanis. He also asked the UAE to consider more favourable conditions for Kyrgyzstanis working there. We found no later agreement, and the UAE list still shows Visa Required.
The reverse is different. The UAE exempted its own citizens from Kyrgyz entry visas for 60 days, as Gulf News reported on .

The Kyrgyz embassy
The embassy for the UAE is in Abu Dhabi. RFE/RL reported on that the president signed a decree to set it up, and 24.kg reported on that Abdilatif Zhumabaev was appointed ambassador. Check the Kyrgyz foreign ministry for consular days before you go.
Documents we ask for
- Your Kyrgyz passport, with 6 months left on it, scanned on the photo page
- One photo with a white background
- A ticket out of the UAE, plus insurance that works there
- If a relative hosts you: their Emirates ID, residence permit and pay slip
Working in the UAE
A tourist visa is not a work permit. Kyrgyzstan's minister asked for better terms for workers in the UAE, which shows how many do go for jobs. If you have an offer, the employer files your permit and residence, and you travel after that.
