For Lesotho, your passport decides, not your UAE residence. Lesotho gives 90-day visa exemptions to nationals of 49 countries and 14-day exemptions to 22. Everyone else needs a visa, and since that can be an e-visa with approval stated within 72 hours. We check which side you are on and file the e-visa if needed.

The e-visa
Visa-required travellers complete the application online, upload supporting documents and get an approval. The page states approvals within 72 hours. You print the approval notice and show it to officers on entry. The page gives no fee, and its full portal did not load for us.
Or you can go the embassy way: Lesotho's foreign ministry says visas to visit are obtainable at its diplomatic and consular missions. Its Embassy in Kuwait is accredited to the UAE, and no mission is listed in the UAE. Entry itself is the Department of Immigration's job.
What UAE residents often get wrong
- Assuming residence counts. The Lesotho pages we read never mention UAE residence.
- Booking before checking the passport. A Filipino or Indian passport holder in Dubai may be on neither exempt list. Check before you buy a ticket.
- Printing nothing. The e-visa approval notice has to be shown on entry. Carry a paper copy.
- Forgetting your return. UAE residents should hold a residence valid through the trip, because airlines in Dubai look at it.
