Namibia changed its visa policy on . The UK foreign office says you now need a visa to visit, and you can apply for an e-visa online before you travel or use the visa on arrival scheme. Which passports are exempt, we could not confirm, so your passport decides, not your UAE residence.

Where to apply
The portal is the Namibian Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security e-services site. The UK foreign office points to its visa on arrival section. Canada says you can apply online or on arrival at designated ports.
Papers
- Passport valid 6 months after arrival, with 3 blank pages
- Return or onward ticket, accommodation details, proof of funds and health insurance, which officials may ask for
- For children: their passport and a full birth certificate with both parents' details, original or certified copy
- A yellow fever certificate if you come from or through a country with transmission risk
Why a UAE resident should plan ahead
Connecting through Africa can trigger the yellow fever rule even if you start in Dubai. Children travelling with one parent need the full birth certificate. And an e-visa is easier than a border queue after a long flight.
How it works with us
Share the passport page and the dates you want to travel. First we find out if your passport is exempt. If not, we fill in the e-services form, attach your scans and answer any query from the ministry. One total price comes before any filing. You get the approval to print. This is a private visa service and Namibian immigration decides.
Refusals do not bring the government fee back. Your adviser tells you in writing, before you pay, which part of our total would be repaid, if any.
