Peru decides by passport. The UAE foreign ministry says Emirati citizens with regular passports enter visa-free for up to 90 days over a 180-day period. For anyone else living in the UAE, the passport decides, not the residence permit. We read your passport against Peru's rule and prepare the file if a visa applies.
The Emirati rule
The ministry's announcement covers two groups. Regular passport holders go visa-free for up to 90 days over a period of 180 days. Diplomatic, special and mission passports go without pre-entry visas for up to 90 days per visit. It took effect on .
Nothing in the text reaches expat residents. A UAE residence card is not treated as an exemption on this page.
Other passports
- British: UK travel advice says no visa for tourism or short visits, normally 90 days in a 180-day period, and up to 183 days in 365 at the officer's discretion.
- Indian, Filipino, Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Nepali, Sri Lankan, Nigerian, Kenyan: no Peruvian government page was readable for us, so we state no rule. You get the answer from an adviser before you book.
What it costs
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| Emirati passport, visa-free entry | None |
| Peruvian visa fee, other passports | Not confirmed from an official page |
No fee is quoted because we found none on a government page.
Offices in the UAE
The UAE foreign ministry says Peru opened a general consulate in Dubai in and a commercial office in . Arab News reported on that Peru planned an embassy in Abu Dhabi. Ask which office takes your case before you go anywhere.
At the border in Lima
UK advice says entry is logged through the Tarjeta Andina de Migracion, a virtual control document, and you can check your allowed days on the Peruvian migration website. The passport should show 6 months of validity after arrival. If you cross by land, make sure the officer stamps it.
How it works with us
Message us your passport page, residence details and dates on WhatsApp or in the form. The adviser compares your passport to Peru's rule. If a visa is needed, one total price comes first, then the team prepares the papers, arranges any mission visit and follows the file. DubaiVisaDesk.com is a private visa service, and Peru decides entry and any visa.
A refusal does not return the government fee. The adviser puts in writing, before payment, what part of our total comes back, if any.
