Swedes do not need a visa for Dubai. The UAE foreign ministry lists the Kingdom of Sweden as visa free, with a free multiple entry visit visa on arrival, valid for 6 months and up to 90 days in total. We help when the plan goes beyond that: a longer stay, a partner on another passport, or a move to the UAE.
What the entry rule gives you
Immigration issues the visa at the airport. Nothing is filed beforehand and nothing is paid at the desk. Count the 90 days as days spent inside the UAE, not as a window from the day you first land. Airlines print the same rule as the ministry.

What we do for Swedes
- A partner or child on another passport. That person needs their own visa before boarding. We read the rule for the passport and file it.
- A stay that runs long. We lodge the extension ahead of the last day and tell you the fee first. The Dubai visa extension page has the steps.
- A move here. A visit visa cannot become a work permit. We explain residence and work routes, and the family papers.
- Guests from Sweden's side of the family. Parents or friends with non-Swedish passports can get a tourist visa file from us.
The Swedish embassy in Abu Dhabi
The Embassy of Sweden is in Abu Dhabi. Swedish citizens who need a passport there must book an appointment online. It also lists legalization of documents.
Visa and migration work changed in March. On its page, read on , the embassy says these matters moved on to the Embassy of Sweden in Amman, the regional hub for the Middle East and North Africa. Schengen visa applications for Sweden are filed at VFS Global in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The embassy also says it does not cooperate with agents that offer paid services. That applies to Swedish visas. How it works with us
