Kyrgyzstan treats passports very differently, and living in the UAE changes the answer for some of them. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-visa tool says Indian, Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Nepali and Sri Lankan passport holders with a UAE resident card can get a simplified tourist visa of up to 1 month. What the e-visa tool says for common passports

The e-visa itself
The Ministry says the e-visa gives the same right to enter as a sticker visa, with no appointment and no original documents at an embassy. It needs a card and scanned documents. Each traveller needs a separate e-visa, including infants and children, even if they are on a parent's passport.
Visa types on the form include Tourist (TS), Business (B), Study (S), Transit (TR), Relatives (RL), Foreigner Family (FF) and Digital Nomad (DN). Pick the one that matches your real reason for going. The fee depends on category, type and period and appears after login, so we do not print an amount here.
Documents and rules for the file
- A passport valid for at least 6 months after the visa ends, with 2 free pages and no damage or unofficial remarks.
- A digital photo and a passport scan.
- A card that accepts international payments. It does not need to be in your name.
- Papers in Kyrgyz or Russian, or translated into one of them.
- Your form completed in English.
The verification email is valid for 72 hours. If you do not confirm in time, the application is cancelled and you start again.
Timing
There are two service levels: standard, or review within 2 business days. If the system returns an application for corrections, the 5-working-day review begins only when you resubmit with everything fixed. The portal also advises not to buy an air ticket before the approval notice.
Where applications fail
- Mistakes in the form. The portal states the application is rejected if data is wrong.
- Photo or scan that does not meet the requirements.
- Passport with less than 6 months left after the visa.
- Skipping the 72-hour email check.
- Expecting a refund. The portal says the fee is not refundable if you are rejected, do not use the visa, or made an error.
After you land
Foreign citizens must register at their place of stay within 5 working days of entry, unless their country is on the exemption list. Hotels usually do it. Ask at check-in.
Embassy
Kyrgyzstan has an embassy in Abu Dhabi and a consulate general in Dubai, according to a Ministry listing we could not open in full when we checked. If your passport needs an embassy visa rather than the e-visa, we tell you before you pay and prepare the file.
